First Trip to the Pool!

Brennan took his first trip to the pool on Wednesday. I think he really liked it after he got over the initial shock. Unfortunately we couldn't stay in the water long because of the hot sun!! We'll keep going though!! Here are a couple pictures from the pool and the picnic before the pool with his friend :)

More pictures of the life of Brennan

Happy 4th of July
Brennan wasn't all too happy after Eden grabbed his face :) He's also angry that all he can do is play in one spot--he wants to be able to move around like she does!

Here's the picture of Brennan's 4th of July "sailor" outfit (which was worn for the last time that day since it was a bit tight! He appears to be sitting on his own, but don't let the picture fool you!
Daddy and BrenBren sleeping over lunch break
Brennan's getting bigger and much more alert each day. He's been doing a great job coming along with me to work as it's been very busy. He gives everyone in the office great smiles and a great excuse to take a break! He's officially been sleeping through the night for almost two weeks, which is amazing! He's growing up fast, we're trying to hold on!!

It's Been a Big Week!

taking a little nap at the park
my favorite picture of his blue eyes

It's been a big week this week in the life of Brennan--and it's only Tuesday!

So far we've had two nights in a row of him sleeping for between 9 and 10 hours STRAIGHT at night!! Sunday night it began with him sleeping from 8:15pm 'til 6:15am, then last night he slept from about 9:30pm 'til 7am! Although we're not expecting this to last (though it would be great if it did!), it's really nice to have a nice night of rest.

Then on top of deciding to figure out the whole sleep thing, Brennan figured out how to roll from his tummy to his back today! It was really funny because I don't think he did it intentionally the first time, but I put him on his tummy two more times after that and he flipped right over! Then he got tired and couldn't make his body do it anymore and got really frustrated--super cute! I'm including a really short video of roll number three!

I'll also post a few pictures from playing before the roll and then from our outing at the park while daddy played basketball.

Enjoy.
