Into the Second Month

Life in the Mauer household continues to get more exciting as Brennan notices more and more of the world--it's been fun!

In the past few weeks Brennan's experienced quite a bit including:

-traveling all the way to Michigan to see only the first 10 minutes of a graduation before deciding he was hungry!


-going in to work with mommy and helping make a difference in the world of youth soccer


-meeting the final set of great grandparents


-going to his first (as well as ours) medical school graduation party (and screaming through the toast!)

-hanging out with his first babysitter

-wearing his first pair of "big boy clothes" (jeans :) )





He has officially begun smiling in response to things and people, quite often it's his little toys he loves so much! In addition he is much noisier whether he's awake or asleep--making cute baby noises as well as gaining volume in his cry.
